Exodus - Wandering in the Desert: God Provides
This is a lesson is about the Israelites wandering in the desert and God providing them with food (manna.) This is one lesson of a five week study of Exodus. This was used for children in grades kindergarten through 7th grade.

Sunday School Memory Re-work
This program was developed to replace a memory work program at my local congregation, at the request of the pastor. It moves away from the concept of memorization of text and emphasizes instead the idea that the memorized text should mean something in the life of the child. I have tried to emphasize timely themes - e.g. thanksgiving in November. in addition, "do not be afraid" is a recurring theme, because fear is very real in children's lives.

The Sunday School Teacher of Oz
The "Sunday School Teacher of Oz" is intended to be performed by adults with simple costume changes for the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion. The set should include a small area with a table and chairs for the Sunday School class (off to the side) and a garden scene with a rainbow (center). The opening scene can be performed in front of the stage area.

Fish for Tanzania
The Sunday School wanted to raise money for a fish farm project in Tanzania. Teachers helped the kids keep track of how much money was being raised by creating an under-water aquarium. The goal was to fill the board with fish. Each fish symbol represents $50.00. Sunday School kids decorated and cut out fish to put on the board.

The Sunday School children and staff have worked over a month on a mission project that will be a gift to our sister parish in Malawi. The Sunday School Committee was very receptive to this idea that came to Ann from a Bible Study memorization verse, John 15:5, I am the vine; you are the branches.
