Shepherds care for their sheep
This is a children's sermon that may be used when illustrating God as a shepherd. The kids are active and engaged in the children's sermon, hiding in the sanctuary. The kids and adults thought this was great when I gave it in my churches. Probably better for smaller congregations, but I'd love to know how it would work for larger congregations with more than 10 kids.
Proposal for Shepherding Program
These general observations remain a daily concern in our ministry. It is my belief that our congregation could derive great benefit from organizing itself into small groups to provide general spiritual oversight among the members.
